Tommy Sands and Bernadette Devlin McAliskey

The “Bard of Peace” Tommy Sands joins civil rights icon Bernadette Devlin McAliskey for an intimate evening of music, story, and solidarity.

We are honoured to welcome two giants of Irish heritage to Norton’s this October for a night of profound reflection. Tommy Sands, the “Bard of Peace,” brings his timeless songs of humanity, justice, and the deep roots of our shared history. He will be joined by Bernadette Devlin McAliskey—a true icon of civil rights, whose fearless spirit and unwavering voice for equality continue to resonate as powerfully as ever.

This won’t just be a performance; it’s an evening of song, story, and solidarity. Expect a night of sharp wit, hard truths, and the kind of warmth that only comes when two such dedicated voices share a stage. Join us in Digbeth for what promises to be a deeply moving exploration of resilience, peace, and the history that shapes us all.

It’s an absolute privilege to open our doors for this gathering. We hope you’ll join us for an unforgettable evening.
