BRUMMY HEART,
IRISH SOUL
Built from the ground up inside the old Nortons Hydraulics factory, with friends and family coming together to deliver the vision: a genuine Birmingham Irish bar and venue that refuses to compromise on culture and music, embracing local and international Irish talent and showcasing it to the people of Birmingham.

NOT ANOTHER
IRISH BAR
Digbeth has been The Irish quarter for generations. Yet modern Irish bars either undercommit to the culture, music, and authenticity or others dilute that legacy into tacky leprechaun novelty and watered-down commercial nostalgia.
Nortons is an uncompromising return to the real thing: an authentic cultural venue celebrating contemporary Ireland. World-class musicians, big gigs, Irish bands, genuine hospitality, and an uncompromising commitment to creamy pints.
LIVE MUSIC, LATE NIGHTS, CREAMY PINTS
The best Irish pub and the biggest lineup of Live Irish music every weekend.

43–45 Meriden Street started as a raw industrial plant. Hand-crafted timber, repointed lime brick, and arena sound converted it into Digbeth's premier live hall.

500-CAPACITY ACOUSTIC WAREHOUSE
Every foot of timber was salvaged from Birmingham reclamation yards. Outfitted with d&b audiotechnik line-arrays, Nortons bridges raw industrial grit with pristine sound for both touring rock bands and Sunday trad sessions.

PETER MICHAEL CONNOLLY
Nortons is dedicated to the enduring memory of Peter Michael Connolly. His hard graft, quick laughter, and deep love for Irish traditional music inspire every pint poured and tune played.
"Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis — May his faithful soul be at God's right hand."
